Grobe discusses effect of injuries ahead of Kansas State

On Seth Russell:

“Looks like we’re not going to have Seth this weekend. I think he’s having surgery today or tomorrow to get his ankle fixed. Hopefully, they’ll go in there and not find, you know, a whole lot of damage and it be a pretty quick recovery for him.”

“I think we lose his leadership on a day-to-day basis. There’s no question about that.  I really think it was good for the team to see a positive attitude with the injury. If he’d been down and crushed and obviously distraught, that’s the way the team would have felt. And the way he handled it almost made the team feel good.”

“Taylor Young still having some issues with his knee right now. So we’ll see about Saturday. JaMycal Hasty took very few reps yesterday, didn’t do much at all.”

“Terence Williams having a lot of problems with his knee. Wasn’t able to go yesterday. So we’ll kinda go day-to-day with him. The good news is Davion Hall’s healthy now. He seems to be fine. We’ll have him back in at safety now.”
