On a list of big predicted upsets in 2019 that included tough losses by Big 12 teams in non-conference matchups including James Madison over West Virignia, UCLA over Oklahoma and Oregon State over Oklahoma State, it was Baylor that will have a big say in the race for the Big 12 Championship according to Allen Kenney of Athlon Sports.

After a near victory in Austin last year — a game where Charlie Brewer had multiple chances for a game winning touchdown pass in the closing seconds — the Bears get the Longhorns in Waco and pull the upset.

This is what Kenney had to say about the game:

Baylor over Texas, Nov. 23

The Bears will have a chance to play spoiler in November when they host Oklahoma and Texas on back-to-back weekends. The Longhorns will travel to Waco for the penultimate week of the regular season on the back end of consecutive road trips after a date with a physical Iowa State team. That could put Baylor in position to knock off a road-weary squad late in the year — keep in mind the Bears' upset bid against UT in 2018 came down to the last play of the game.

A victory over the Longhorns for Baylor would be the first since 2014 after defeating the Longhorns in 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2014 and would even the series at 5-5 for the decade

Other upset picks:
Oregon State over Oklahoma State
Indiana State over Kansas
James Madison over West Virginia
UCLA over Oklahoma
Texas Tech over Iowa State
