Signs of confidence on defense a huge step for Baylor to open 2019

Baylor’s victory over ACU a year ago to open the season was a moment that Baylor fans everywhere were able to collectively get their head above water for the first time in over a year. There was nothing fancy about an offense that dominated an undermatched defense but never imposed their will and a defense that was finding its way while chasing Wildcats from behind too often.
