Thoughts on the Coaching Carousel?

What are your thoughts on the coaching carousel?  I know Tom Herman is thought to be a great coaching prospect but it is a little ironic that Texas is firing a coach who finished second in the American Athletic Conference in 2013 and they are hiring a coach who finished 6th in the American Athletic Conference in 2016.  I know there is more than meets the eye but just one example how this can often become a crapshoot and getting the right “fit” is critical.
