Only a few years ago, Baylor football was looking to make its claim as the new "Wide Receiver U". Standouts like Kendall Wright, Antwan Goodley, and Corey Coleman, among numerous others, regularly made defenses look silly and in the process turned Baylor into a top destination for elite receivers. 

Post-WRU teams still saw stars like Jalen Hurd and Denzel Mims come through the program, and in 2019 the future seemed bright for young players like RJ Sneed and Tyquan Thornton.
