2024 four-star CB Kobe Black and Connally shine in season opener
While tasked with a night of production I was able to get a front-row seat to watch 2024 four-star cornerback and Baylor target, Kobe Black, shine for Connally, as they defeated Mexia 65-20. The 6-foot-0,190 pounder was a two-way player for the Cadets, who left his mark on both sides of the ball.

Five different Big 12 teams sit in the Top 25. Texas (5), Oklahoma (9), Baylor (14), Texas Tech (16), and West Virginia (24). Ohio State sits atop the 2023 rankings, followed by Notre Dame and Penn State rounding out the Top-3.

The Longhorns remain first in the 2023 Big 12 standings this week and sit 3rd nationally behind Notre Dame and Ohio State. Baylor was able to jump Texas Tech for second overall in the Big 12.
