We've been using a local (Waco) tent rental company the past several seasons for our tailgate. We rent a 20'x20' green top tent. They offer many sizes as well as white tops. The structure is anchored extremely well, is set up once for the entire season, and you're charged per home game. Send me a private/direct message and I can help you get the initial delivery fee waived (usually $100), which includes set up and removal at the end of the season.

Are you on the baylor side or at brazos parking? I ask because it is my understanding, I could be mistaken tho, is that you cant rent tents from any company other than RevelXP on the baylor side. A side effect you could say of them getting rid of RevelXP being over every spot and now being back to the old way. Id confirm with BU before investing money into a tent rental if tailgating on the baylor side so u dont end up in a pickle come fball time. You can use your own equipment but if renting, it must be through RevelXP.

Baylor side, between Touchdown Alley and the track stadium. This will be I think our 3rd or 4th year to not rent a tent from Revelxp. We have two spots and rent a 20x20 green top.

i know what specif area u are referring to as thats where they started letting folks diy like b4. But now that all spots on the oenninsula & law school are not controlled by revelxp, it is my understanding that part of that contract restructuring includes revelxp being the only option for renting tents. I could be wrong but another group inquired and was told u must use revelxp of u want to rent instead of use tents you own. Now how they would even know ur renting, I have no idea.

Just would hate for any groups to pay for a tent rental and then find out they must use revelxp for the rental service and ur scrambling. Hopefully it was just a misunderstanding by that other group and u can rent from whoever u please. But I can see that new contract restructure including the revel optional rentals being exclusive as a compromise on their end for giving up all the control.

A REVELxp 20x20 tent package was over $4k, included tables, chairs, ice, etc. We already have everything we need except a large enough tent, so we rent (Cen-Tex Lighting & Events). Original post was meant to help other DIY tailgaters catch a little bit of a break.

i know where your tailgate is as you shared the location earlier.
My tailgate is also in bear park. Very aware of the rental package costs as well. Just trying to save someone the misfortune of renting a tent from a non approved 3rd party based on what was communicated to another group in bear park who was told tent rentals can only be done through revel and if not renting through them then u must use equipment you own. Would hate for that to be an issue at the last minute!

Hopefully you can in fact rent from someone other than revelxp and save some money this year and that was a misunderstanding between Baylor & the other tailgate group. Carry on

You cannot rent a tent from anyone other than Revel. You are free to use your own. Those are the only two choices for this season.
