Just retired and I want to make a serious effort at improving my 30 handicap golf game and I'm considering a 2 or 3 day clinic at a reasonably nice location. Wife will not do any golfing so spa, pool and maybe some nearby shopping opportunities will be a must. Looking for input about anybody else's experience doing this and maybe some recommendations. Stan Utley's clinics are incredible and given you're a 30, the easiest way to knock that down will be working on the inside of 50 yds game. Stan teaches at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Az.

Not sure of his schedule but he offers (or did) a variety of options, ie, 1/2 day, full-day, 2 or 3 days. Accommodations are not included so you can Vrbo or stay at a nice resort. Plenty for the wife to do and the food options in the entire area are unlimited.
