I use to get 4 or 5 spam phone calls daily. Now I'm getting more and more spam text from funeral homes, politicians, collection agencies, etc etc.

Is there anyway to absolutely erase your phone number, email and other personal identifications from these spammers?

The phone companies will do absolutely nothing to stop unidentified reply phone numbers.

I'm getting 30 - 40 calls a day. Yesterday I signed on for Cloaked. Don't know if it works yet.

I use Robokiller. It's crazy the amount of spam calls.

Anyone here over 65? I've had 8 spam calls today from the group trying to sell a different version of Medicare?

They start ate 8am and really burn up the phone 10-12.

Are any of those blockers working for sambaing bear or 30a bear?

AI has given a boon to robo calls. When you answer there is the "whoop" sound of connecting. Then the salesperson is giving you an earful of AI as you cannot respond to them. You need to wait until it finally connects to a live person.

I've given up trying to block them. It is useless. And I no longer answer as asking them to remove your phone number gets you instantly cut off.

I love AI but it has absolutely made robo calls, political adds etc a constant interruption.

I recorded that loud, robotic "beep beep beep we're sorry, this number you have called is no longer in service" message and set it as my voicemail. As soon as I got a spam call, I would immediately send them to voicemail. As silly as it sounds, it did help in reducing the number of spam calls I received. Current issue is some sort of charity that calls me at least once or twice a day from different numbers

I'd like to do that too but I'm old and have lots of doctors. When their staff call it usually is from unknown number and I miss an important call.

Nevertheless, it may be worth it just to free up from the annoyance. Already had 4 damn calls this morning on Medicare enrollment.

Had to tell my doctors and others to always leave a message. Baylor Scott & White is pretty good with emails and updates in their app. I was getting 10-15 calls a day from spammers, so it was worth it to me.

It doesn't.

Update; since setting my iPhone to ignore unknown callers my spam calls dropped for 10-15 a day to 1-2.

LOL. It took me about 10 minutes to find my phone was missing in settings. I found it in Apps??? Ignore was checked. Let's see how this works. Thx.
