IHOP offers in a national advertising campaign a $6 /$7 meal deal. Was told by the Seguin IHOP it only applies to weekdays. McDonald's is advertising their bundle meal deal consisting of 4 cheeseburgers , 20 Mcnuggets , and a basket of fries. The little girl said our store is not participating in this promotion. Even though the ad was on their frickin' drive thru menu!
W T F??? Back in the old days, we called this false advertising.

Preemptive rebuttal: **** Arby's.

Thank you for this therapy.
Call it a tax, the people are outraged! Call it a tariff, the people get out their checkbooks and wave their American flags!!!

Arby's would not do that to you. You go in knowing that you are overpaying for their scrumptious roast beef.

But yeah, pretty sure you could have gone into the McD's and talked to the manager.

IHOP is regularly is a scam. Once tried to charge me additional money for a seasonal holiday meal because it was on the holiday weekend.

IHOP was always my go-to place for a good puke followed by a stack of pancakes...now you tell me they're running specials and appealing to mainstream diners?

Well, the IHop one says "Five Delicious Meals. Every Day" on the website. So either IHop as a whole or your place in Seguin is lying.

On McDonald's, I've seen local places exclude a broad promotion, but not when they are advertising it themselves. That's pretty scummy.

Breakfast is a challenge for most restaurants. The entrees are less expensive as are the bill and the tips. Has always been that way. Just don't falsely advertise to get a customer in your restaurant and then lose a customer as the result. The restaurant business is tough in general!
