Starting today I am getting ads on this site pop up at the bottom of the page. I have pop ups blocked on my phone and they still appear. I tried it on a computer and same thing.

Is there a way to get rid of them? Or is this a "free board" version where you get the ads if you aren't premium?

Same for me.

As much as I enjoy reading some of y'all's takes on things and sparring with those who post stuff I don't enjoy, I've yet to read anything worth paying a fee.

I'll endure the ads until it just becomes too cumbersome at which point, I'll be done.

(somebody look at Jason and Ashley, I bet their shaking with fear at the thought of losing me)

The truth is, someone here should be scared. If I leave, they become the least schooled poster on Sic'em.

my ad blocker sometimes goes in and out, for a few days at a time but it works the majority of the time

The last week has been ad intense for me. More problems on laptop than phone though. No other sites have ad issues.

The ads are suddenly becoming more aggressive and invasive. Sometimes the site is almost unusable. Hope the mods tap the brakes a bit.

Dammit! Wish I could get some of those!

The ads are legitimately making this site unusable. I'm sure the owners would probably say just subscribe and they go away. Their disdain for the poors on the free boards is well documented, though.
