This is different than bad though it can be both. Disappointing the great book you love that the movie adaption sucks. Maybe the sequel to your favorite movie that just didn't have it.
Two of the greatest of all time followed by an arguably below average film. If you think hard about it, it had to be below the first two. OK, but this one fell off a cliff.
Great American novel about a corrupt Southern politician and his cronies. Crappy movie starring a British actor (Jude Law) and his best Foghorn Leghorn impression.
You forgot to add titty milk, Rey in a hole doing her jazzy snap fingers, the annoying oriental chick, Benecio Del Toro as stuttering Stan, the pointless Chrometrooper, the pointless emperor guy who got killed, Luke doing the matrix move when he was a hologram, Laura Dern was entirely pointless and finally killing off two of the most beloved characters in not just Star Wars history, but cinema history in Luke Skywalker and Han Solo.
The last thing I wanted to see was them killing off the main characters form the originals. That's not how I want to think of those characters.
I can't even get into or care about Rey or Kylo Ren or Finn and the stupid Asian girl.
I won't be going to see the last movie. I have zero interest anymore. They have done such a horrible job with the story making so many extreme similarities and poor screenwriting and direction.
How many lines from the original first 2 films can you remember. I can think of about 20 classic lines off the top of my head. I literally can't think of one memorable line or original idea from these new Disney Star Wars films. Star Wars is dead. It's all about money now and how many sequels and prequels and side movies they can make to de-saturate Star Wars into a pile of mush.
