SNL skit that should have happened

I'm not sure the exact timing, but I think the timing on all of this would have prevented this. Anyway, after watching SNL last weekend and seeing Adam Sandler sing a tribute to Chris Farley, I thought up an SNL skit. Now, we know Farley died in the late 1990s, so I think the skit I thought of wouldn't have been possible due to his death, but suspend reality and hear my skit. The Spartan Cheerleader I think were in the early 2000s. Will Farrell and Cheri O'Teri were cheerleaders that couldn't make the actual squad so they formed their own cheerleader team....a team of 2. Their skits take place at events like the chess club tournament or in the parking lot of a football game (not on the actual field). Crazy funny skits. So the skit I thought of is this (who is still reading this?)....Farrell and O'Teri decide they need a third cheerleader for their squad. They put up flyers around school and put a time/place on the flyers. They wait there for a while, maybe 15-20 minutes waiting for anyone to show up to try out. When they were about to leave because nobody was coming, Chris shows up and says he's interested in trying out. Now, we saw what he did in the Chippendales' try outs against Patrick Swazye. Imagine similar stuff but in a Spartan Cheerleader suit. I'd like to hear your thoughts on this.

Sadler and Farley were fired in '95.

Ferrell and O'Teri were part of the new cast beginning in '96.

So, they were never part of the same cast on SNL.

I think every group on campus parodied that cheerleader skit on campus while I was at Baylor, btw.

Farley would've had to have hosted for that skit to take place - and he did, in fact, on October 25, 1997, less than two months before his unfortunate death. But, that would have been the only opportunity it could have ever happened.

It would have been better than the crap they call comedy on SNL over the past decade or two.

True. It is completely unwatchable now.

There is a new sketch comedy series on Netflix called "I think you should leave." I laughed pretty hard. Be forewarned. It's weird and definitely not for everyone. Not "Kids in the Hall" weird, but out there a little bit.
