Windows Defender has always been good enough for me. It's free.

Windows Defender has always been good enough for me. It's free.

I use Avast, also free. It was recommended by Altex years ago and has never failed me.

Industry standard is Windows Defender. It works as well as anything. Adding other programs may be just as good, but really only opens up other avenues for potential compromise.

I used Avira free. Seems to work fine.

Who is your internet service provider? Sometimes they will offer antivirus free of charge for their customers. For example Comcast/Xfinity offers Norton free to their customers so it's worth checking out.
