I can't argue with your list but, my goodness, there is a ton of talent not listed.

Fun arguments. Wilt Jordan & LBJ combined have 10 of the 12 best seasons (PER) ever played. KAJ has a record six MVP awards.

Who do you have? This is a hard one because of all the great names being left out.

Right after Teddy Ballgame should be one Peter Edward Rose. I'd throw Mickey Mantle in there too.

Love Gilmour

I heard someone say that he says twice as much with half the notes. Brilliant

Ruth
Mays
Wagner
Williams

Ruth is still the overwhelming highest rated player in almost any meaningful statistic. There are a heck of a lot of people who could be considered. If Bonds had done what he did without the aid of PEDs, then he'd be #1 with a bullet, but I'm not giving him credit for cheating.

Welch and Fawcett are hard to argue with

Maybe
Rita Hayworth
Cheryl Tiegs
Kathy Ireland

I think Marilyn is way overrated. If she hadn't died young, I don't think she'd be all that well remembered.

Made for TV Westerns

Lonesome Dove

Gunsmoke
Bonanza
The Big Valley

Of course that leaves off The Wild West, The Rifleman and The Virginian.

I would definitely pick The Virginia over Big Valley. Have Gun Will Travel and Maverick are both really good shows but it's hard to argue with the longevity of Gunsmoke and Bonanza

Regular TV western series:

Gunsmoke
The Rifleman
Rawhide
Have Gun, Will Travel

Also liked and still watch reruns of Wanted Dead or Alive (Steve McQueen), Trackdown (Robert Culp as a Texas Ranger), Bonanza, some Wagon Train.

These are good picks. Chet Atkins was also a fine guitar player.

I've dabbled in contemporary languages (German and French), and ancient languages (Greek and Latin) but those musicians know, think, and play a LANGUAGE that I know not of and have no way of comprehending.

Jealous; very, very jealous!

My wife and I are Keystone, South Dakota and this afternoon we looked at the real Mount Rushmore and they've got four All America performers cut in stone better than any of these here lists. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Teddy Roosevelt and Abe Lincoln. Studs all.

Social distancing is a snap. Weather is beautiful and ain't nobody here. In fact it's free. Just walk on in. Glad we came.

I got to thinking about this, who would be on the MASH mountain?

Hawkeye (obvious)
Radar (they took the edge off his character after the first season, then made him more interesting much later but he's still critical)
Margaret (although she's more the foil/straight man than the comic, she's significant in many stories)
BJ (probably not a popular choice, but I think he provides a lot of the comedy after the show shifted into dramedy territory)

The one I struggle with is Blake. He was a great character, but only three years.
