Sad. What a great film.

Honor Blackman, the British actress who played the Bond girl ***** Galore has died. She was 94. Time flies faster and faster and faster.

I thought we had rules around here.

Apparently not.

She also was the original female sidekick on The Avengers before Diana Rigg took over as Emma Peel.

Out of all the Bond Lines and Bond Girls, Honor Blackman is the first who enters my mind when thinking of James Bond. I'll never forget that line bringing down the house. Especially during the time Ozzie and Harriet, Lucy and Rickie, and the rest were still sleeping in twin beds. Shirley Bassey did a great job on Goldfinger the theme song. Along with Diamonds Are Forever and Moonraker. Speaking of time passing, she is 83. "Do you expect me to talk. No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die."

Times really flying CHP Bear, She died at the age of 94. And I applaud everything in your post. Exactly my thoughts as well. It was as if I were at the Port Theater in LaPorte last night.

Honor Blackman was the only actress who played the Bond Girl as an equal to JB. Superb also in Jason And The Argonauts. I think her on-screen self confidence stemmed from the boxing lessons her father taught her as a youngster and the fact that she really had studied Judo for years before the movie.

Rest In Peace.

** A side note: I've always wondered how big a bump Kentucky Fried Chicken received from having interior & exterior shots of their restaurant featured in the film.

Guidelines sound better. After all guidelines are like, Diamonds Are Forever, constantly changing over time. And doesn't require much pressure. Speaking of pressure, "No pressure no diamonds.", unless your James Bond.

I'm anxiously awaiting our theater reopening. Who should be the next Bond? I know Idris Elba has a lot of support and I would be fine with that choice, however, Tom Hardy would be my pick. The man just gets down and dirty much like the Bond that Daniel Craig has created.

But no one could replace Honor!

They're all the same to me. What matters is the quality of the script.

Some of the late 70s Bonds I didn't care for. I like Craig as 007.

I liked Austin Powers take on the character:
