It is time to make a change
Don't relax, be uneasy
You're so dumb and that's my fault
There's so much you have to know
Find some dudes, tackle them
I can help you to car-ry them
Look at me, I am old, but I'm crappy

Gipsy Moth IV is a 53 ft (16 m) ketch that Sir Francis Chicheser commissioned specifically to sail single-handed around the globe, racing against the times set by the clipper ships of the 19th century.

Gipsy Moth IV was the first ever purpose-built ocean racer and has over the years become the most famous of small sailing vessels. Gipsy Moth IV's voyage was the inspiration for the Golden Globe Race (GGR) which continues today.

President Trump took a secret flight from Turkey to the UK on an alternate military aircraft on July 8 after he was quietly moved from Air Force One due to an Iranian threat.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Trump announced that the Air Force One jet he flew to Ankara, Turkey, for the NATO summit last month would be visiting a US base in the UK. He went on to fly on a different Air Force One plane when departing from Turkey, prompting speculation of security concerns.

Trump had told reporters numerous times during the NATO summit that Iran is plotting to assassinate him and that he's "number one" on their kill list, but he shrugged off security concerns when asked if that's the reason why the new Air Force One plane was rerouted.

After flying out of Turkey and across the Middle East on the old jet, Trump boarded his newer luxury plane, donated to the US by Qatar, at Mildenhall Air Force Base in the UK. Trump was then pressed again about security concerns and why reporters had been directed to keep their window shades down while flying from Turkey to the UK, and he said, "I'm number one on their list before you, but if I go, you go."

ICE plans to outfit officers with electric shock gloves

The company that makes the gloves, Compliant Technologies, says they're a nonlethal tool to make individuals compliant during arrests.

Meg Anderson, NPR

Immigration and Customs Enforcement is planning to give its officers high-tech gloves that deliver electric shocks to people they're trying to detain, according to plans posted by the Department of Homeland Security this week. The agency could spend as much as $20 million on the gloves made by Compliant Technologies, a veteran-owned company based in Kentucky.

The device is called the G.L.O.V. E., an acronym that stands for Generated Low Output Voltage Emitter. When a small button on the wrist of the glove is activated, it delivers an electric shock when it touches skin. It is similar to a taser, but unlike a taser, there are no prongs that emerge and break the skin.

Controversial group wins $158M-contract to represent unaccompanied immigrant children
Utah-based Our Rescue was founded by activist Tim Ballard. It was previously known as Operation Underground Railroad and it says it helps law enforcement perform sting operations and rescues human trafficking survivors.

Demonstrations of the gloves in use appear to show it inflicting pain. The Instagram page for Compliant Technologies is filled with videos of police officers being subjected to the glove in demonstrations. Many of them grimace or yell, and almost all of them fall to the ground. The Associated Press first reported on ICE's plans to equip its officers with the technology.

In one video, the founder of the company, Jeff Niklaus, introduced a demonstration on an officer with the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Department. After being shocked with the glove, the officer screamed and dropped to the ground, briefly debilitated for the moment the glove made contact with his skin.

That officer described the feeling later in the video as having "no control." The company's website says the glove provides a way to "de-escalate tense situations quickly and effectively." It is meant to make arrests easier for officers when a person resists.

Sailor went overboard from the USS Abraham Lincoln this month as conditions on the ship prompt lawmakers' demand for answers

A sailor went overboard earlier this month off of the USS Abraham Lincoln, three US officials told CNN, amid reports of worsening mental health for crew members on the ship during an extended deployment for the Iran war.

The sailor was rescued within an hour, according to one of the officials, and was medically evaluated. A different official said that the sailor had gone overboard wearing a life vest and was not injured, adding that the Navy considered the incident a mental health episode.

The sailor had been assigned to an air wing on the ship, the third official said, and was recovered "by an air wing search and rescue helicopter, treated by Abraham Lincoln's medical department, and transferred off ship for follow-on care."

Darline Graham defends her rsum in South Carolina debate after saying 'national security is not my thing'

Sen. Darline Graham and Rep. Ralph Norman traded criticism over experience, ambition, campaign finance and policy positions in a Senate primary debate Tuesday in South Carolina, one week before Republican primary voters choose a nominee to replace Graham's brother, the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, on the ballot this fall.

While Graham, a political newcomer, went on the attack against Norman, her thin rsum took center stage in the historic Newberry Opera House on several occasions throughout the debate, including when a question about Taiwan, the South China Sea and American security interests came up.

"I'm just going to be honest here I'm not on national security," Graham said. "I'm not that informed on national security, but I do support the military."

She followed her short answer by saying, "National security is not my thing."

Lindsey Graham was known as a staunch foreign policy hawk during his Senate tenure, marked by his support for Ukraine and Israel and his aggressive push to increase pressure on Iran. Graham had long advocated for military strikes against Iran and spoke in favor of the Iran war after it began this year.
