One of my employees was listening to her one day. I had never heard of her. I bought a CD, and now pretty much have all of her work. I like the older stuff better, but she did an album last year of some more current covers. Often she is the last voice I hear before I fall asleep. This is my favorite one.

Arrived in Breckenridge yesterday... will be here all week with kids and grandkids... first summer vacation in the mountains... starting to understand this...
Every year we have a huge deadline where we were an absolutely insane amount of overtime, with people working 100 hours or more per week at the end. Last week that deadline passed and life has returned to what passes for normal these days. Robert Earl Keen's "Feelin' Good Again" has become my annual day-after-deadline song to listen to. Feels so good, feelin' good again, is a great chorus for that day. This week I'm going for mainly laid-back, feeling good tunes. I've added a couple that have been on my playlists this week.
I love me some Bob Wills. Here's another of my favorites of his. His falsetto is great here. "Take it away Leon!"
Im a PLUMB FOOL about Ida Red
Winning by cheating is just as impressive as winning fairly, probably even more so. Your opponent was better than you in every way, and you beat them with your brain.

I listen the Feeling Good Again often. Love that song.

I love this. Mark Knopfler is probably my favorite guitarist. He's an amazing talent with a very distinctive sound. That National guitar is gorgeous. I've never gotten to play one, but one day...
