I went to Dubl-R for the first time in a couple years the other day. Man, I forgot how good that place is. They still have the best burger in Waco IMO and one of the best I've had anywhere.

What say y'all?

Last year, I did a tour de Waco of burger joints, and came up with the same results. However on just taste alone, disregarding price, I thought Homestead was the best. The meat and bread there are spectacular.

I actually haven't had a burger at Homestead, but my brother-in-law says there amazing.

Dave's is very good. Not top 5 in Waco for me, but definitely worth a visit.

Probably my favorite burger in town, although I'm sure there are a few joints I haven't tried. The ambience helps too. It's what a burger joint should look like.

Can't go wrong with Cupp's.

If you want to start a new Waco burger thread to keep up the tradition, we can let this one die. I've said for a while that Waco is as good of a burger city (per capita) I've ever been to...so many great burger joints.

Dare I say this because it isn't owned by a local mom and pop and there are a couple other locations (not sure if that makes it chain or not) but I think a Twisted Root has a damn good burger.

Cupps, twisted root, Daves, Dubl-R, Kitoks... my top 5(no particular order- will stop if i am near one for work)

Havent tried homestead yet but it is next on my list...
