Holy **** this place is good.

We moved into a house two miles away and I'm obsessed with their breakfast and my wife is obsessed with their pies.

Their bacon egg cheese breakfast sandwich is cheap as hell and honestly my favorite breakfast meal I have ever tasted..

Felt the need to post about them, wanted to post in the Waco restaurants thread but couldn't find.

We haven't been disappointed at all on any of their items. Also my wife has never been inside and we get the food to go, I think she'd be shocked at how small a joint it is on the inside..

Thoughts on griffs?

Their menu is tacked to the side of my fridge. I think I have had everything that they serve there except their steaks ( Saturday special ).

I've been going for years but have only eaten inside once several years ago

Griffs is terrific, and soon, you will not have to travel out to China Spring for a taste.

The owner has been testing the waters for expansion in the Waco area and beyond.

The gf and I tried to go on Labor Day after some hiking at Mother Neff, but they closed early (as did the McGregor Coffee Shop). It has been a few years since I made it out to Griff's, but I was always a big fan of the CFS.
Noooo evidence for that, babeeyyy, just maaade it up.

Griff's, are we talking about the one in the service station in China Spring? If so its not for me.

Hamburgers consistently overcooked, frys not good because everything gets fried in the same grease, gets old and bad tasting pretty fast.

Best local burger and fry joint in town is Cpt. Billy Whizbangs, by far.

I've given up on CFS pretty much. I know I may be cast into outer darkness for saying this, but even Georges is not good. Griff's suffered from the same problems as the fries, bad grease.
