Its the best on the planet
Yes. Yes it is.

Fin Du Mond or Trois Pistoles... all *******ed day.
Hell even Wastmalle or Chimay is better than almost anything you can get at a common store.

I went to 8th Wonder to try the new lineup the other day. Really not bad, although I felt the Dome Fauxm was a tad overrated.
I like Dome Fauxm and didn't think I would.

They do good beers, overall.

Currently in Philly enjoying the greatness of Yuengling!! Pretty good stuff. If we can rid ourselves of the high schoolers, then Yard and Victory are in our sights

I'm in Zurich, enjoying a Lowenbrau. Cheers.
Winning by cheating is just as impressive as winning fairly, probably even more so. Your opponent was better than you in every way, and you beat them with your brain.

the best 2 unique beers I have tried lately are:

Blue Owl Professor Black (Austin) - black cherry sour stout...not for everyone but I thought it was incredible

Ballast Point Victory at Sea (San Diego) - imperial porter with coffee and vanilla and I think it had some peanut butter too...amazing beer

I recommend trying both if you run into them.

Was at a wedding a couple weeks ago and had a family friend highly recommend this place to any Houstonian.

They have a new location in the heights.

The original location is located a literal stone's throw away from Bakfish Brewery in pearland right at the Friendswood border. It's awesome.

Bakfish is really good too. I've know the owners for over 10 years and we actually used to brew together. Go support it!

Went to Uchi the other night and had a couple Hitachino beers. Really good stuff that's been relatively hard to find.

Do they still make Hoegaarden? Haven't seen it in a spell.

HEB in Sugar Land carries it, and all the others I've been in have a pretty decent selection of world beers, so yours might have it. They've got a section of the Belgian imports with Leffe, Maredsous, Hoegaarden, Stella, and a few others. There are some others with the larger corked bottles on the refrigerated end cap.

Kingwood HEB has all that too, everything but Hoegaarden.

Been working my way through about 18 different beers in build your own six packs this last week.

Modus Mandarin--not my fave but worth the pour every now and again
I don't know the name, but the can is the New Mexico flag--very good IPA
Off With Your Red--I love just about everything Rabbit Hole Brewery makes
Firestone Union Jack IPA--not nearly as full bodied as any other IPA
Hop Devil--won't drink again

These lagers were all meh. Worth drinking but only All Call stood out.
Lakewood All Call, The Forth Worth (Rahr and Sons), Guns and Oil Lager, Santa Fe Pale Ale, Horny Toad Blonde, Sex in a Canoe (actually wasn't bad. Also didn't realize it was a light beer until I threw the can away.)

Rapture--an awesome brown beer from the previously mentioned Rabbit Hole Brewery
Beerito--a neat Mexican style beer from OskarBlues

Still in the fridge: San Tan Pineapple (had this in AZ a few years back. I know it's good.), Liliko'i Kepola, Tuff's Brewery Black Ale, Devastator Double Bock Lager, Saint Arnold's Art Car IPA

Have you been out to Bakfish yet? It's owned by a couple of old dear friends in my Mardi Gras Krewe -one of whom I used to brew with.

They have a few decent beers but their deep runner stout is amazing. And -I almost always hate Lambics and despise raspberry- but they made me try their raspberry beer and it was really good. Like, shockingly good.

I don't know why I'm just now seeing this, but I'll have to peep it.
