I've been quite a few times. It's pretty good. More straight Vietnamese now, while the old Ly-Le had a mix of different Asian cultures. The owners are really nice folks. They're moving downtown because of the I-35 expansion.

Salado has had lots of closures because of I35 rebuild. Be sure you don't assume.

Stagecoach food was never special to me, but the longtimers thought it was the place. A month ago I drove thru coming back from Austin airport and it was shuttered.

The guy who has The Monument in Georgetown bought it and supposedly it will reopen this year. The hush puppies and strawberry kisses were great. Strawberry kisses were a great on a first date.

Ly-Le's ha been gone for 25 years or so. But the other comments about what it is today are correct. The original Ly-Le's now Clay Pot building are about to be taken down for 35 expansion.

Last day for the old Clay Pot location was July 31. The new location will be on Franklin next to Barnett's Pub.
