It's a respected-in-some-circles but not entirely reliable analytics brand that grades players based on-the-field results.

Their model is imperfect, as with most sports analytics, but it's still interesting, and they have some compelling stats and data to look at if you're into that kind of thing.

For reference, the overwhelming consensus 'best' safety in the draft this year, Kyle Hamilton, had only a 76.1 PFF season grade in 2021. Pitre may end up being better long term, but at this point, few, if any, have Pitre above Hamilton on their draft boards.
