Baylor has such rich potential with its location in Texas. There is no excuse for for what happened during 1996-2009. You can be an institution of higher learning and have a dominant football program at the same time.

Several of them played in the Sugar Bowl because of the Georgia players that sat out.

Lewis Cine started at safety. Travon Walker and Jordan Davis played in the DL. Nakobe Dean played a little at LB.

Zamir White scored a TD at RB. James Cook played at RB but got hurt early in the game.

P Jake Camarda ran for a first down on a fake FG and punted.

WR George Pickens was the MVP of the game.

Stoked Xavier is headed to the Titans. Can compete for playing time at left guard and we run a lot of outside zone, so he should pick up the offense pretty quick.

The amount of 5 stars they needed to win the NCG was incredible. Imagine if we had that kind of talent.

UT recruiting classes in 2018 and 2019 were ranked #7 and #3 in the country, yet produced ZERO picks in the 2022 NFL draft. BU recruiting classes in 2018 and 2019 were ranked #24 and #34 and we had 5 drafted (Pitre was earlier class) and another 4-5 signed as UDFA. The magnitude of the ineptitude going on down in Austin is so fun to watch and be part of. Too bad we won't have them to kick around anymore after 2024-2025.

One more thing, in the last 8 NFL drafts, UT has had 0-1 players drafted in 4 of those drafts.

Well, only if you want to have a national championship winning team. You better have the horses to win the race and the teams that win the national championship are all loaded with the tip top talent coming out of high school.
