That already happened, with the horns and Sooners still in the conference.

Not just with sports either, our President is also the vice chair for the Big 12. It's great to see Baylor taking lead on Big 12 matters now.

But wait, what about all of those who posted on this board not long ago that our president was a liberal, woke socialist who was going to run Baylor into the ground.

Maybe they have fled and now support the Houston Baptist president. He's a real prize.

She is a woke liberal. What does that have to do with football or basketball, etc.?

Took 3 post before this became a R&P post.

This is why we can't have nice things.

She is co-chair of the Big 12 and sits on NCAA Division I Board of Directors, and on the NCAA Board of Governors.

Sooooooo...very much football and basketball and having Baylor in the forefront of D1/P5 college athletics decisions.

Which is where I want to keep it. Her politics at Baylor can be discussed in the R&P cesspool.

"Little Conference that Could"? Maybe horns are The Little Team that Couldn't in recent history. What a putz. Be gone with your weak stuff.

I live in Austin and only take the Statesman for business purposes, but I've been reading the drivel of Curt Bohls and Cedric Golden for years. They are shameless in their worship of all things UT. While I appreciate the shout-out, he just couldn't help himself and had to drop in a few backhanded comments about the conference. I do love how they cover UT football. Bohls and Golden will rank them in the Top 20 to start the year. UT will win a big game early and they will be driving the bandwagon. Then UT will do what they do and finish 6-6 making these two lover-boy reporters look bad for picking them to do so well. They will then write one damning article about UT's current state of FB affairs and then wash, rinse, repeat next year.

C. Golden may be a ut fanboy but one thing he got right was noticing the remarkable success of Baylor with Aranda and staff.

How long do you think they will stay with Sarkisian if he continues to post mediocre results?

If he loses the next three games against OU he is probably out.

if He loses the first three games against aggy when series resume, if he is still around, he will be canned quickly.
