In sum:
1. QB room will make or break the season
2. Baylor will be ranked all season
3. Baylor O-line will take Bears to Arlington again
4. Baylor has country's best D-line
5. Dillon Doyle will make Big 12 first team

These are bold!

While we can debate on what exactly is a bold prediction or not, #1 clearly is not.

#1 can be said about any football team every year.

Blake was MVP of Big12 Championship. He is proven. Just needs to stay healthy.

True. That is a very limited sample and he was heard of that game.

Predictions?

If UT or aggy had accomplished half of what Baylor has accomplished (in revenue sports) over the last 10 years it would be plastered all over the Dallas Morning News.

All day and everyday.

But, oh that conference travel schedule.

Ames, Morgantown, Austin, Norman, Lubbock.

Well, if you add Provo to that mix then the first letters of those cities spell out "NAPALM"...I like our chances...

Depth at QB is the biggest question mark. It's not a matter of if, but when this will come into play.

Just beat the frogs and I'll be impressed.

#4 seems really ambitious. LSU, Georgia, Alabama and Clemson all have ridiculously good defensive lines. It's why their defenses are always extremely good. Best in conference, ok. Best in country? That seems a bit hyperbole.

I don't know if we have the most talented DL in the nation, but we have one of the most experienced and proven. Only a handful of teams going into the season could be with us or ahead of us.

As far as QB room, that is legit to me. Blake has high expectations and praise from a lot of people I trust, but I need to see him on the field all season to fulfill his promise as the next great QB from Baylor. I sure hope he is able to.

I believe we will have a pretty salty linebacker crew too.

Didn't our d line have the best run defense in the country last season?

Maybe we will find out by playing one of them in a bowl game. Fiesta or Peach would be nice.

okie st had a damn good D overall last year ( They were #5 right behind Bama)- As we at Baylor well know. That D beat us in Stillwater.

But when it came down to the wire, it was our man McVea who made The McPlay , to win Baylor the Big 12.

We need another player to join Dillon on the All Big 12 defense.

Several years ago we missed out on a kid from OK name Ford. He went to OSU and had an incredible freshman year where he started if memory serves correctly. He was out last season after an early injury and they were still tough on the DL. He will be back and he is a beast, or was.

Since when does the main stream sports media overpump Baylor and inject hyperbole? Answer: They don't. Our DL really is this legit. Nice that they noticed. Now go prove it on the field!
