I always liked his depiction of the Aggie.

LOVED reading Dirk West. My cousins in Lubbock would regularly clip out his cartoons and mail them to me. Dirk wasn't afraid to rib any SWC school, including Tech.

Can anybody else hit Dirk's cartoons? Great stuff. Particularly the Aggie!

Used to add a hole in the hat of the red raider for every loss during the football season.

I remember cartoons from Ben Sargent back in the 70's in the Austin American Statesman. He used to do the same thing, seems like the better the team was that year the more imposing the caricature of the school was.
