Unlike Ags, we exceeded expectations last year. Not sure we will do it again but we are more likely to be in contention for the playoffs than they are. There is little chance of the Aggies ever getting into cfp under the current system.

I still am having trouble believing they didn't block UT from joining the SEC. I guess SEC leadership money whipped them. Once UT starts throwing their weight around in the SEC, aggies are gonna feel like the little brother (again).

If the playoffs had been at 12 since it started in 2014 the Aggies would have made it once- 2020 when they were 6th (covid year with less games then normal)

Baylor would have made it in 2014 (5th), 2019 (7th) and 2021 (5th).

So even at 12 teams they don't normally have a shot with their late season collapses.

As far as I know Reuben Owens has been committed to Louisville, the school that "loaned" Reuben's father a Lamborghini the day before he committed to the Cardinals, for a couple of months now!

Of course, driving up and down the dusty, pothole-strewn streets of El Campo, can be pretty hard on a Lamborghini's suspension, and I doubt there's a garage in El Campo that specializes in Lamborghini front-end alignments!
