It would be funny if they announced Campbell tomorrow or Friday & the Clones were completely discombobulated when the game started. I know that won't happen.

The last time that situation happened for us we managed to make an unknown freshman QB look like Johnny Manziel enroute to an upset loss that kept us out of the CFP.

I though Coach Aranda was signed through most of the decade. That buyout would be substantial.

I highly doubt that Aranda will take that job but Nebraska will pay through the nose if he does. Carolina paid us a lot to buy out Matt Rhule's contract and so will the Huskers. Mack Rhodes will have a huge pile of cash to recruit another coach with and Mack is rather good at evaluating coaches.

I would definitely be disappointing and of course nervous about any potential new person, but I will be following Baylor football regardless.

Ditto the F Nebraska.

Even Saul Goodman went to Nebraska to hide.

Race to the bottom, who's next - Geoff Collins (Ga Tech) or Karl Dorrell (Colorado)?
Quote:

Georgia Tech's Athletic Association board has a special meeting scheduled for Monday, where decisions could come on embattled coach Geoff Collins and athletic director Todd Stansbury.

A team official confirmed the meeting to ESPN but did not provide any further details. A Georgia Tech source told ESPN that changes are expected within the program Monday.

Georgia Tech fell to 1-3 after Saturday's 27-10 loss to UCF. The team also lost 42-0 to Ole Miss and 41-10 to Clemson to open the season.

Collins is 10-28 as Georgia Tech coach after arriving from Temple. Stansbury has led Georgia Tech's athletic department since 2016. He hired Collins and brought him back after a disappointing 2021 season. If Georgia Tech fires Collins, industry sources do not expect Stansbury to hire his replacement.

Collins will make approximately $3.3 million this season and has three years left on his initial contract with Georgia Tech. The team will visit defending ACC champion Pitt on Saturday.

Also, did anyone see the news from Kansas this weekend with the statement from Leipold? Basically said he is not going anywhere.... I know it doesn't mean much as coaches say that and then jump but at least it quiets the talk so he can focus on this season with his team.

For now.

I'm disappointed that not one person made a joke about Nebraska being defrosted.

Not one.

If Mat Campbell coached UT and Sark coached ISU UT would have won by two td's.
