Now you are talking! This is the kind of championship talk we need around here. I bet this defense would love to get a couple of wacks at him. Not a popular player on the Baylor team while he was here.80sBEAR said:

You gotta think positive, OldSchoolBU. After I win the PowerBall on Wednesday night I reckon I might be eligible for a spot on the Baylor Board of Regents.OldSchoolBU said:Now you are talking! Playing Auburn in a final 4 game would be a dream scenario. But we must first win the next 12 games on our schedule. Losing is for losers and we are here to win championships now.
Hard to believe that little ole' Baylor has/had SEC talent on their roster.BU84BEAR said:

The not a popular player is just not true at least with the other players if that is what you are referring to.OldSchoolBU said:Now you are talking! Let's see if he can make it through a season.
What's not hard to believe is that little ole' Baylor couldn't keep the talent we once had.boxster said:Hard to believe that little ole' Baylor has/had SEC talent on their roster.BU84BEAR said:

You say that based on just one transfer?. I think we have quite a bit of talent now and currently scheduled to be coming in?Judge said:What's not hard to believe is that little ole' Baylor couldn't keep the talent we once had.boxster said:Hard to believe that little ole' Baylor has/had SEC talent on their roster.BU84BEAR said:

Amen. All indications are that Brewer has all the promise Stidham had but with character to boot.PartyBear said:You say that based on just one transfer?. BTW it is good to see you here. I had replied to your PM on BFans but it was hours before the crash. Not sure if you saw it.
Your homerism is justified this this instance, who wants a quitter on their team.El Mariachi said:
Stidham is good, no doubt. But I am happy with who we have. But then again, I am a homer.
On the record? I believe you. Off the record? You will get an earful.REX said:The not a popular player is just not true at least with the other players if that is what you are referring to.OldSchoolBU said:Now you are talking! Brewer is better than Stidham.
One has to be able to recognize character, which he obviously did not have, and you don't seem to be able to recognize it. Welcome from Bfans.EvilTroyAndAbed said:
Stidham had every right to get out of this dumpster fire. I'll never blame him for that. I wish he hadn't tweeted commitment before that, but whatever.
Auburn isn't good enough to beat Bama or even LSU, but he's going to be very good this year. And then he'll head to the pros, where he will either suck or be average or be good. I have no idea who will be good in the pros anymore.
No sense in wringing your hands over him.
Keep hoping. Outside of injury, it ain't happening.Roy Rogers said:
IIRC Stidham sometime in early June 2016 said something to the effect (paraphrased) "Stick with us. We've got this". He then announced his intention to leave Baylor about a week later. I will always consider him a quitter who cared only about himself and nothing about his team.
I hope he loses his starting job.

Auburn has a new OC this season. Until this gig I think his career had been a HC at several high schools in Alabama..
