Major upset tonight - Utah dominated USC in the second half and walked away with a 47-24 victory. That likely means OSU takes the 4 spot, assuming TCU wins. . Also saw Purdue's coach has a 3-0 record against top-5 ranked teams. Could be some interesting football tomorrow.

The problem with USC losing is that Nick Saban will start crying he should be in the final four even with two losses, the big baby from Alabama!

As long as KSU doesn't blow their doors off, I think you're right - although we should never underestimate the committee's ability to invent some kind of BS to get another blue blood into the CFP.

A TCU loss today would set off hard-ons all over B1G & SEC territory. The dream of two SEC and two B1G teams in a 4 team playoff would be a reality.

BTW - If USC wishes to maintain its 'whale' status, it can't go around losing to the 'left behind' schools in critical games.

They should be. There is no reason NOT to include an undefeated conference champ. Even if they lose today, they will have one of the best excites in the country. I don't see them losing.
