I'd rather win a championship

To be clear, this is nothing more than a measure of predictive athlete graduation rates. Not that it's bad that we're near the top, but it has no real bearing on the quality or rigor of education provided.

Call me old school and out of touch, but I'd rather have a football team that at least somewhat embraced the student part of student athlete and was relatable to the rest of the student body. Don't need the 1-year mercenaries that see an education as a means to an end for playing sports, rather than the other way around. I can see those types all day on Sunday.
Again, I realize this is a recipe for failure in professional college sports. And probably why I will stop watching eventually.

So would about 115 other D1 football schools and 315 D1 basketball schools.. sometimes you have to find enjoyment in the fight and journey and not the end result always.

Im sure Charles Barkley John Stockton and Karl Malone would have loved to win a championship...but I betcha they wouldn't trade their experiences for anything.
