Big 12 will distribute $440 million in revenue. That averages out to $44 million per school. I believe that's the all in number. (tournament rev, bowls, cfp) When the new contract kicks in, B12 ADs believe that all-in number will approach $50 million.

To be clear - the Big 12 contract puts it at $31.7. The difference between that number and the $50M is the new CFP payouts that all major conferences get, NCAA units, etc. The question therefore becomes how close can the PAC 12 get to $31.7 without going all in on streaming.parch said:
There is no feasible path available to the Pac-12 that will get them to the $50 million estimate Big 12 chiefs have given for the new contract.
So at this point the question isn't whether schools can make more TV revenue in the Pac-12 - we know they can't for the foreseeable future - it's whether moving toward that increase in revenue share will win out over simple inertia and executive red tape.
And the fact that PAC basketball won't get nearly as many March Madness units.Aberzombie1892 said:To be clear - the Big 12 contract puts it at $31.7. True, but 7 of those wins were USC/UCLA, so that doesn't help the PAC going forward.Stefano DiMera said:
PAC 12 actually was the best conference by far in 2021 in the tournament when we won it . they had the most wins..13-5..and best winning percentage....722
