Literally zero news. Verbal agreement ain't a signed agreement until a satisfactory tv deal is announced.

Correct..this is like someone on their deathbed letting you know where their will is when the inevitable happens.

I don't even know this is true. The president of U of Arizona had not heard anything about it when asked about it by Finebaum today as per a clip I saw.

It also makes no sense to sign a grant of rights without any media partners signed on for anything.

Indeed, the difference of just one letter in the wedding vow changes the entire meaning and duration of the commitment. Maybe a wedding gift symbolizes a love that lasts as long as we both shall live, forever cherished and celebrated so it's essential to show love.

I think this is great data and though-provoking. The elephant in the room that nobody talks about is demographics. UCLA's freshmen class is 60/40 female/male. That's your future alumni right there. Then you add in other forms of diversity.

Is it really all that surprising that attendance is down? College football has traditionally been a regional sport and it is returning to that status.

It is a shame. The Big 12 should absorb the PAC 12 as a western division. It looks inevitable that it will happen someday. I guess the next major realignment will be when the ACC contract is up. Would have been nice to have a headstart with these 22 teams.

The Big 12+ with 22 schools??? And that's before poaching the ACC? Doesn't seem realistic.

Maybe they are accepting that the SEC & Big 10 will break from the NCAA & create a new NFL light organization with everyone else in a "minor league" organization & they expect an expanded Big 12 to be the genesis of it. It's an intriguing idea and may be where we are all headed (or something like it). I'm not sure I like the idea.

I would rather be aligned with ACC schools
I think Baylor would fit better with the schools of the ACC and I would love playing UNC and Duke in basketball!
