Tip of the cap to Yourmark, good job. He has the B12 as at least being discussed as a viable 3rd Super Conference in the media, which is important. It may not happen and it may be "click bait". But, I would rather see the B12 in the conversation and as "click bait" than not.

If we add UConn instead of Utah and Clemson bolts for the BIG (if, if, if, if), then we can make the BBall Vision pitch to Duke, Miami, NC, and Virginia.

Today, everything may not move, but everything's in play and this is the moment.

There's zero need to make a basketball pitch to those schools…. This is already the premier basketball league and it's not even close

Team dispersement seems off. Divisions are made on market power not just geographically destined. For example, does anyone really see the SEC going after Memphis?

The proposed additions are largely silly, but the Big 12 seems to be coming into form as "the best of the rest in football with top tier basketball" (although future Big 12 expansion needs to be mindful that some expansion could risk the status of basketball).

I saw a commentator the other day who essentially stated that despite all the talk of football and the big 2. The reality is due to hoops, with the addition of Arizona, the XII will seal the deal of being a conference right up there with the SEC and B10 in prominence that they (the big 2) can't run away from.

I know football runs everything but a Uconn that wants to be here is > Utah that doesn't.

It's about stacking chips for the next tv contract..yeah we're already the best league now..but adding those schools make us like the SEC in football.. Yourmark wants to separate the basketball TV deal from football and that group of schools would command top dollar.

That is the strongest case for UCONN outside of BB that I have heard. I am really sick of prima donna schools that think they are better than their Conference-mates.

Clickbait.

None of these 3 conferences are adding the teams listed. The Big 12 could take some of those but certainly not all & the Big 10 might snag a couple (FSU & Clemson) but probably not. I don't see the SEC adding more than 1-2 of those & probably none.
