Most fans have moved on from this coaching staff. They are losers. I hope Tom Stanton left the phone number for that tarp company. You are going to need it.

He doesn't care. When the Jeremy Fudges of the world stop opening up their checkbooks, he'll get rid of Dave. I hope Mr. fudge loves watching this loser team and coaching staff work out in his fancy new building

Hate to tell you, but nobody pays attention to this board, win or lose......which is probably justified.

There is no way that is true. Its been obvious from time to time there have been admin plants in here trying to cover for woke decision makers.

He's too busy getting two sentences strung together that make sense to be concerned about athletics.

This is true. There have been plenty of times that Baylor has tried to send people in to influence this board. or at least "talk some sense to us." A lot of them we probably don't directly know about.

I also do not find it merely coincidental that the very popular free baylorfans.com (which was much more pro Art Briles, and much more critical of Baylor bor) was purchased by this site (much more pro Baylor BOR, and critical of briles) during the Art Briles fustercluck, after which point both moderators and people from the paid side did what they could to referee things on the free site that they now owned. The free side of the site consequently never became nearly as active or robust as baylorfans.com had been. That was probably a feature, not a bug, as baylorfans.com had been considered an embarrassment by most of the paying members here who did not like the free for all nature of that forum ("cess pool," "the poors," etc). Safe bet lots of Baylor brass also didn't like it.

If we get to a point that a lot of grassroots Baylor fans are unhappy with Aranda and Rhoads, it will be interesting to see if that dynamic repeats itself.

Personally, at this point, I do not think Aranda has shown that he has the gravitas and the people skills to attract and manage staff and a roster. He is starting to look like a really good defensive coordinator. I also think our quarterback room is an embarrassment, without a savior in sight, and that is long-term untenable. And I cannot fathom how you get to year four with an offensive line playing this poorly out of the gate, when our alleged identity and philosophy is to run the ball, be physical, control clock, and help support our defense by limiting their exposure.

Then you look at Rhoads and wonder what is going well besides men's basketball, which he inherited, and which may have peaked. Extending Aranda until Gabriel blows his horn is looking like a big mistake.

There is a problem with our current approach. We say,"Come play with us and we'll help you be great people". The best football players want to know how we'll help them improve, showcase and monetize their skills.

Nope. Fed up, maybe. But she could have been convinced to stay. The wussies wanted no female questioning their manhood.

Had it been anyone else but LSU, you probably are correct....and she probably wouldn't even have considered a move. I don't know about you or anyone else, but if I considered a place "home" (Louisiana in her case) and I was offered the chance to finish out my career there (without having to worry about having to continue to build or defend past accomplishments) and be assured of unlimited resources (more than Baylor could or should have dedicated to WBB), you would be brain dead not to take it. It rejuvenated her.

That is not true. All programs monitor social media and most companies have people under contract to influence it.

Believe it or not, these boards are a better indicator of the mood of a fan base, election base or shareholders than the talking heads want to admit. I would say Rhodes knows exactly what the mood of the fan base is at any giving time. If not, he is going to get caught flat footed. After Briles, I would say there is about 0% that the Admin is not monitoring.

It is about getting them to the NFL. If you are not working on that as a P5, you should go G5 or lower. Different level athlete, different expectations and working on total personal development is a plus since they are not going to the league.

The talent needed to compete in P5 have the expectation of at least a shot at the NFL. Only 10% will get there, but if you are telling an 18 year old that the NFL is a long shot and we are more interested in your degree program vs Oregon's of the world saying we develop players to go to the NFL. The 18 year old is heading to Oregon.

The problem with boards like this and especially the R&P board is that they eventually with time crater down into a group-think situation. People that attempt to interject logic, reasoning, looking at things objectively eventually leave because they are ridiculed, jumped on by the mob, and otherwise marginalized by those who want to push an agenda.

It doesn't take many to run off those with differing opinions, opinions which may be just as valid given the known facts (not suspicions, desires, or other unverified facts or omissions of valid information). So what you eventually end up with is a source of "information" that is only going to reflect opinions on which 90% of the posters still around agree....because they ran everyone else off. I feel confident that the vast majority of Baylor fans don't even know this site exists. No way to know whether the opinions here reflect or not the average Baylor fan. Regardless, the only ones that matter are the big money donors and I doubt they waste their time here. That I suspect is who the administration listens to.

You mentioned "election base" in your post as an example. Are you saying this site's R&P board reflects the election base? You have got to be kidding. It is the perfect example of what I was talking about in my first paragraph. It has become nothing more than an echo chamber and the athletic boards are starting to become the same thing.

Social media. I do agree with you. My point is what you are describing is being orchestrated by the firms the AD, election managers hire to change the narrative. You are now hearing a constant we can't afford to buy out Aranda. If he reaches a bowl game and competes all is well. The message is being massaged.
