Deion is doing a fine job. But those that think this is a special team will be disappointed when they see it play the best teams the PAC-12 has to offer. So far, they've beaten a 7-5 TCU team, a 4-8 Nebraska team and a 4-8 Colorado State team, and two of the those three games came down to the final possession.Russell Gym said:
My man, Colorado has already tripled its win total from last year in only three games played. What's amusing and predictable, is the negative rooting-against Deion here (to be clear, I am not referencing you personally). Sure, CSU played well minus numerous penalties and turnovers, but that formula will get you beat most weeks … even by a team that won only one game last year on any field.
Colorado will certainly lose some games, maybe some by a big margin. But the Buffs season is already a success.
I don't have any problem with people being excited about the job Deion is doing at Colorado. He's certainly breathed some life and excitement into a moribund program. But the insane hyperbole that exists in this sport -- around both winning and losing -- is annoying.
