not even sure Belichik's scheme was ever that good. It helps having the best qb of all time leading the team.

I can't stand the Pats but the Bill Tom combo was unique and the first ring was all defense. I think Bill started trying to hard to outsmart everyone when Tom left, while Brady just kept throwing footballs.
