That unsportsmanlike penalty really hurt
Just like the one that TCU got after going up 58-37 that gave us the ball at midfield and start our comeback.

I obviously have no idea what pass interference is any more. Both the Houston/West Virginia game, and the SMU game (that I switched to during breaks) had numerous non-calls on what I would think was pass interference. What does it take these days to get a flag thrown for that?boognish_bear said:
I thought big 12 officials did not call obvious pass interference toward the end of games… I guess I was wrong

What's crazy about that game is that Houston's game-turning interception before WVU's comeback came in the end zone on a pass that should have been a touchdown.
WVU will have a ton of "what ifs" after that one.
Houston coach Dana Holgorsen on the emotional swing from the Coogs giving up the go-ahead TD with 0:12 to winning on a Hail Mary:

"(I went) from being as mad as I can possibly be to being as happy as I'd been in this profession in 32 years."
Houston wins on this Hail Mary after West Virginia took a lead on a 50 yard TD pass on fourth down.

Say what you want about the new Big 12, but it’s got parity and wild ass stuff like this. pic.twitter.com/dSwbxRW5a9
Must see:

The ending of WVU-Houston saw the Mountaineers take the lead on a 50yd TD with 12 seconds left to take the lead…only to lose when Houston threw a 49yd Hail Mary as time expired!
College football is the best 😍

Lowest announced attendance at Mclane was in 2018 vs Kansas. Almost 37000 and coming off the 1-11 disaster. UH is hosting their second ever conference game in the P5. Disappointing.IowaBear said:
That's double what the BU attendance will look like when our idiotic AD brings Dave back next season

What exactly was the penalty for after WVU last touchdown? They said unsportsman like conduct but I never saw what the QB did and they didn't say or show replays.
That loss is cause he helped put them in position to lose. Without that penalty Houston would have been catching that ball at around the 20 yard line not the goal line.

It was closer to 3,200. Pathetic.
