CDA is the worst coach BU has ever had

He's the lowest football IQ coach in Baylor history. Completely lost across all facets of the game as a leader. No BU coach lacked situational awareness more than CDA. No coach has dismantled the program faster than him.

Tell me where I am wrong.

Edit : Don't just respond with records. W-L Records certainly tell part of the story, but you can see by above I'm talking about coaching qualities. Comparing an Aranda record to a bad prior coach is comparing apples to oranges. Aranda inherited a great program and rode it to destruction in just a few years. So before responding about how bad Steele or whoever was, ask yourself if CDA inherited what some of the bad usual suspects did, would CDA do worse, better or about the same as the prior coach did.
And what about the leadership qualities, has any coach seemed as lost as Dave in game, talent recognition, leadership, etc.

We didn't, but he's the one who comes to mind for comparisons to how the team looks today.

Bill Beall was worse.

Don't overstate your case. Dave Aranda should be fired. We've had far worse coaches.

Kevin Steele was the worst I ever saw by far.

Steele, 9-36 in 4 years, I believe won 1 conference game

That 2021 season is looking stranger and stranger.

He certainly is already the worst coach in Baylor history to win a conference title

I've seen em all. And seen most of their games.

Beall made Steele and Aranda look good.

I worked for Bridgers and Beall. Steele was the worst by far, including Aranda. Nothing compares with Steele.

That was Rhule's/Joey's team with Joey still here.

If Steele had had to play Beall's schedules, he may not have won a game.

There weren't any New Mexicos or pre-FBS South Floridas on Beall's schedules.

Reedy was 23-22 in a 4 year span, he could recruit big name players that couldn't get into Baylor.

This thread describes it all.

Our fanbase is fighting over who is the worst Baylor football coach of all time and one of the possibilities is a current coach who, on the pre-season poll on the 365 Forum, was projected to win 9 games or more this year by almost 50% of the voters..

It was obvious last year that he was completely lost.

He also got to play conference games vs Rice, SMU, and Houston every year (the SWC bottom feeders back then).

The same teams that Grant Teaff coached against, the coach that Reedy replaced. I'm just saying that Reedy didn't dismantle the program.

Do you think that if given Rhules team that any of the past coaches would have demolished the program as quickly as CDA has?

Sure he did. Houston's only win in Reedy's 1st year was Baylor (they were 1-9-1).
Reedy inherited a team coming off 3 straight 2nd place SWC finishes and a bowl win over Arizona.

Steele's teams were the worst, but in defense of Steele he had no where near the resources and facilities. He also inherited a bad team. Aranda has great facilities and inherited a good team and has trashed it.
PartyBear

Steele would have lost this game 77-3 or something today. Y'all also don't understand NIL is the new facilities.

Anyone who thinks this current staff is as bad as Steele didn't watch many steele games. And I think Aranda should be fired.
Our vibrations were getting nasty. But why? I was puzzled, frustrated... Had we deteriorated to the level of dumb beasts?

Yep I think if Steele had inherited the same program that CDA did, he wouldnt have dismantled it as quickly. CDA is just terrible, low football IQ.

Teaff won 26 ball games his last 4 years of coaching and Reedy won 23 games, that is not considered a big down grade in the program. I am a big fan of what Grant Teaff did for Baylor and what he stands for but not going to say that check Reedy ruined the program by winning just 3 less games than Teaff over the same period off time. I believe that you didn't like Reedy for whatever reasons.
