We know who they are.

Bowl eligibility gone.
Only thing left to play for in these last 2 games is boosting stock for transfer portal and getting off this sinking ship.
#Baylor HC Dave Aranda said he hasn't noticed anyone on the team "checking out" with bowl eligibility out of the cards.

"I'm sure they're being recruited (by other teams). ... We have to bring it back here to this team, to this moment, to this opportunity (against TCU)."

If your company was losing ground and you knew your salary and benefits and bonuses would decrease while the ship is sinking, or worse, you knew the boss was taking your best clients/assignments and giving them to his favorites so they could do better in the interim, would you be "loyal" and sink with the ship? Would you take your family down with you to show the flag on the way down?
Or would you put your resume in order?
I hate to lose talent through the portal. But I don't begrudge a young person with a very short chance at their dream a shot at a better situation.
Kids aren't going to declare for transfer because the team is losing. They're declaring intent because they are not being developed and not getting the opportunities they came here to get.
It technically is. But like all other NCAA rules in 2023, it has no teeth. Nothing is enforceable in modern college football.PartyBear said:
Well this confirms something. Our kids are being recruited while they are our players. I thought that was illegal.
