Anyone else feel like this bush league agenda is going to run Scott Drew off eventually? I mean, nice new pavilion and everything, but if they try to manage games like they're a black tie event at the White House, what's the point. We as fans just want something to be excited about. I haven't been to a baseball game since I was a student. Do they have the revolutionary guard policing heckling at those?

None of the above, we will all learn to cheer for the soon to be Baylor Rowing Squad and horse riding team. Looking forward to the wine and cheese tailgates on McLanes lawn. Will be nice to not have to concern myself with less refined sports like football and basketball.

Hell, when games were at H.O.T., and we were bad, the primary enjoyment of going to the games was to pick one player on the opposing team and needle and needle him and get under his skin, so it would affect his game.

The problem is not old farts jonesing for the good old days. The problem is people on the board like Martha Delehanty. I have no damn Idea how she got on the board because I can't find any long term connection to Baylor for her.

According to her Bio she is the Chief People Officer (read head of HR) for Commvault (CVLT), a provider of data management and protection services Headquartered in Tinton Falls, NJ. She has a BS in Psychology from Mount Holyoke College (all women, one of the seven sisters) and an MBA in finance from UT.

It would be difficult for me to imagine a more woke CV than that.

I was at Baylor in 2005 for the CWS run and went to a lot of games. There was a group of guys that sat by the opposing team's on deck circle and was absolutely ruthless. I can't imagine what would be done to those guys now.

That video just about tipped me over the edge. About as fakeeeee as anything I've ever seen. Some of us old local boys have tried to keep an interest in the local sports that BU provides. With goofy stuff like this, and all the incompetence that I've seen displayed by Mack and the BOR for the last several years, I really don't even care to ride down University Drive anymore

I have such a love/hate relationship with Baylor that mostly tilts on the hate side, yet I still cheer for them for whatever reason…**** like this is why the hate exists.

Completely agree. I was in regular contact with CSD during the formative years on some recruits he was interested in (signed one). Most unbelievable story in the history of college athletics. He definitely deserves better. Haven't asked him what he thinks about all this … and don't want to. It's embarrassing.
