One of Baylor's all-time greats, Gerald McNeil, was even smaller than Baldwin. He was incredible and made All-American. As a receiver and kick returner, McNeil then played in the NFL at 140 lbs (making the Pro Bowl) and later played in the USFL (catching passes from Jim Kelly and named All-USFL).

In the era of the Chicago Bears' William "The Refrigerator" Perry, McNeil became known as "The Ice Cube."
