What does disassociation mean? The booster collective was already supposed to be disassociated from the school.

Selective enforcement has been a problem for the NCAA for a very long time. It makes every actual response by the organization look like a joke.

Of course, there's a blueprint for avoiding any NCAA repercussions at this point. Just threaten to sue them and they'll back off. That is a completely toothless -- and at this point, useless -- oversight body.

According to multiple sources, Florida State, Tennessee and Florida are just the beginning of the NCAA investigating and presenting allegations to schools.

This is about to ramp up further in time.

I would suspect that is already in the works.

This feels like the NCAA's last gasp attempt of being relevant.

Some of you might remember that Tennessee had a rape scandal in 2016 too. Settled quickly and swept under the rug.

There was actually an ESPN reporter or writer who quit over it because had been told to go hard after Baylor and believed she had a story with UT too. There was some poster from the old Baylorfans who was emailing her, and she kept assuring him they were going to pursue the Tennessee story too. Of course, ESPN killed the story, and she quit. I kinda felt bad for her because I think she thought she was changing the world, and was hit with the hard reality that she was just a cog in a business and had been used. But the world is full of useful (and naive) idiots, so whatever.

Without question.

What they did to USC was just ridiculous. Even worse was the guy leading the investigation was the former AD or some administrator type at Miami when they were busted for all kinds of shenanigans.
