With shifts in demographics and population, I wonder if that conference would actually thrive today?
the big 12 is due for a rebrand for 2024-2025. They should roll with it

The major Texas schools should be in the same conference, can't change my mind
FBS should be under one umbrella with collective bargaining rights with regional conferences and divisions.
But it's a unicorn at this point because the most influential programs have already received the taste of greed.
