About time someone woke up about this.

This is a good advancement to catch up to high school and NFL.

However, I could imagine other tech advancements. For instance there will be the day soon when coaches will use AI to generate plays based on defensive schemes and potential outcomes based upon team strengths, etc.

Now players won't be able to say they didn't hear what a coach said. And a coach will have more opportunities to manage his team during a game. This is a very interesting technological innovation.

Maybe AI will be used during game play. Right during game play, AI will give advice on strategy. And then games will become not battles of teams, but battles of AI

Yes, that is what I was thinking. You wouldn't need an offensive or defensive coordinator making decisions during the game. A robot would tell the qb the most advantageous play; the defensive AI bot would tell the defensive captain the most advantageous defensive scheme based on the down and distance and the opponents' history of schemes. I don't think this would be that far into the future.

And soon we won't need players either!

Imagine the savings on NIL and scholarships!

This could be interesting, there will always be someone to blame - a bot I can imagine excuses after a game: bot told me the wrong action.
