CFP format is taking a backseat to an agreement on a revenue model

The proposed revenue model is the B1G and SEC together receive ~60% of CFP revenue, the Big 12 and ACC together receive ~30% of the CFP revenue, and ND/G5 split the final ~10% of the CFP revenue. If the B1G and SEC pull this off on top of their mega media deals, it's game over whether or not the Big 12 and ACC are willing to admit it as they cannot compete with an annual revenue imbalance of that magnitude.
