Pitt did not hire Tennessee's AD Danny White. He's called Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics. He is the guy who brought everything together after multiple failed ADs. The guy you are talking about that Pitt hired is the equivalent of an assistant AD that they gave a slightly better senior deputy title. He basically is responsible for putting placards in front of the media spaces at home games. Pitt doesn't have the money to buy anyone of note from Tennessee. Good grief.
