Guy is trying to find UT alums before a game , but he is mainly finding T-Shirt fans. Before anyone says anything I know this video has been edited, but honestly, it is similar to my experience living in Texas.

Yea I never go the dig on tshirt fans

Especially when schools like USC and Notre Dame show us you can be a high quality private school and still have t-shirt fans.

Its a little strange to brag that the only people who like your school are the small number who paid to go there.

I would love to do some sort of huge video and facial recognition review to see the number of people in Texas that have worn different schools' gear over the years. I bet you'd be shocked at the number of people that have sported both A&M and UT gear.

People love a winner; the actual team is kinda irrelevant for t shirt fans. You sure don't see the same amount of Pats gear for example.

Well, Notre Dame is the national Catholic university, so if you're Catholic in the U.S., you're born into being a Notre Dame fan, regardless of their quality of football team.

I live in the Austin area and I often see UT fans riding in the back of pickup trucks heading off to do their day labor jobs. C'mon man a free shirt is a free shirt.

People watch pro sports and call themselves fans.

People watch college sports and call themselves fans.

Don't see a prob with T-Shirt fans. If BU knew how to market itself and win games we'd have a ton of T-Shirt fans.
