The TCU offense continuously has multiple receivers open on almost every passing play such that a random guy off the street could complete some of these passes, much less a mediocre quarterback like Josh Hoover. The TCU defensive backs are on our guys like white on rice. That's the key difference I see between these teams so far. Our most reliable receiver target is a walk on. I know it's easy to trash him..but he's a kicker who'll shank an extra point and kick a 51 yarder..he's done it several times..don't be overly dramatic.

I can guarantee you that there are a lot of G5 and FCS kickers that are licking their chops at the chance to come to Baylor and get some of that sweet revenue sharing that was talked about. It's a business. I'm sure the dude is a nice guy, but there's got to be a better option out there

I agree with not trashing guys...it's ok to be critical though imo.
I'd rather have a kicker that is automatic on PATs and clutch from 40 in...rather than the guy that can sometimes make the bomb.
Eight seconds isn't enough time to use the middle of the field. Because it takes guys time to get open over the middle and you risk a sack.IowaBear said:

Everyone throws to the sidelines in that situation. You need your tight end not to suck.
We should have had back-to-back 5-yard catches and a 42-yard field goal.
Nothing would have hurt. But we should have been trying to get a hell of a lot closer because he's absolute garbage outside of 40 and thats been proven

There was 11 seconds on the clock on the play trigger dropped the ball. Use the middle there and clock the ball for a much easier attempt. Granted Hankins needs to be at like the 2 yard line to have any success

Houston just beat Kansas State by the way, so anybody that thinks that we've got all these easy wins on the schedule to get to that sweet 6 wins that everybody craves is a bit optimistic. This is it. Lose here, and bowl eligibility is almost certainly not happening
